Farewell Sudocrem!

..created in 1931 by Prof.Thomas Smith in the back of his shop on the Old Cabra Road Dublin, the nappy rash cream ‘Sudocrem’ was originally packaged in glass jars. Yesterday was a sad day though, with the news that the manufacturing of this wonder cream used for many ailments and famously favoured by Madonna is now moving to Bulgaria. πŸ˜”

.. one can only wonder if it will ever be the same without that Irish touch☘️ …will Sudocrem simply become a Pseudocrem? 😳

The Arklow Pyramid

The Arklow Pyramid

…The Howard Mausoleum, Kilbride, Arklow, Co.Wicklow. …This pyramid was built in 1785 as a mausoleum for the Howard family of nearby Shelton Abbey. Situated on a small hill just north of the town, this monument was described by Sir John Betjeman (1906-84) as the largest pyramid tomb ‘beyond the banks of the Nile’. ..This photo was taken by ourselves back in 1988 while on a visit to Arklow. ..’got to see Eileen Dunne too!! πŸ˜œπŸŽ‰
